Baby Owl is exploring the woods by himself, but every animal he encounters fusses over him, gives him a hug, and tells him how cute he is. He thinks that he's a 'huge and scary hunting machine,' but none of the other animals seem to understand that. He insists over and over, 'I'm not cute!' but it doesn't do any good. When he returns home, will his mother say he's cute, too? Or does she know that he's really a fierce owl? For continued adventures with Baby Owl, check out 'I'm Not Scared!'

How many of us have ever wanted a do-over, to be able to go back in time and do something differently? This 'gift' is given to former best friends, Amanda and Leo who happen to share the same birthday, and have been quarreling since their 10th. For some reason though, they get stuck in a loop, repeating the day of their 11th birthday over and over again. At first, it's weird, and then it's kind of fun. Eventually repeating the same day over and over gets frustrating. Do they keep going until they get it right? And just what do they need to do to make it right? Somehow, they have got to figure out how to make it stop! Will they ever see the day after their 11th birthday?

This book was very interesting. It was kind of confusing sometimes, however the ending was very unexpected. I would recommend this book to someone who likes books that are about time travel and are still fiction. 4 stars from me!

This book is a hilarious, action-packed, completely goofy story about two guys, Andy and Terry, who live in a 13-story tree house with lots of cool rooms and platforms (it has a bowling alley, a see-through swimming pool, swinging vines, a giant catapult, and more!). The book is all about Andy and Terry's wacky day, featuring a homicidal mermaid, marauding monkeys, a giant banana, and a floating marshmallow shooting machine. Packed with drawings and jokes, this is perfect for people who like Dav Pilkey's Captain Underpants books.
